Once configured, users can proceed without concern, knowing that their safety is monitored discreetly.
Location Lockbox provides an additional layer of security by enabling users to schedule automatic check-ins at selected times. During these intervals, the app verifies user wellbeing; if a user indicates they are not okay or fails to respond within 30 minutes, the app alerts the designated emergency contacts with the user's last known location and event details. This feature aims to facilitate prompt assistance when needed.
The implementation of secure PINs allows users to maintain exclusive control over their safety status. By setting two distinct four-digit PINs—one for confirming safety and another for indicating distress—users ensure that only they can communicate their wellbeing. An incorrect PIN attempt triggers an automatic alert to emergency contacts, enhancing the system’s reliability.
Furthermore, Location Lockbox accommodates an unlimited number of emergency contacts per profile. Contacts are notified initially upon being added; thereafter, they only receive alerts when the user signals distress or fails to check in. The app emphasizes data privacy and security, ensuring that all personal information remains protected.

Interested users can subscribe for full access to all features with a one-week free trial, followed by a monthly fee of $1.99. Subscription management and auto-renewal options are accessible through your account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of the free trial will be forfeited upon subscription purchase.
